Hey jaablr, Baltimore is great town. I hadn’t heard of a derecho either. I suspect there will be more weird storms in the coming years, especially in winter. NPR covered the word derecho very well: npr.org/word-of-the-day-derechoBottom line, think of a baseball player on steroids. You don’t know which homer is attributable to the ‘roids, but you know that 20% or so of his stats are from the juice. Same with climate change.
